Working with dates the easy way
Counting days by hand is error prone because months have different lengths and leap years add a day every four years. This date calculator does the arithmetic for you, whether you need the gap between two dates or a new date a set distance in the future or past.
Two modes
- Days between dates: Enter a start date and an end date to get the exact number of days, weeks and months separating them.
- Add or subtract: Start from any date and add or subtract years, months, weeks and days to land on a new date, complete with the day of the week.
Common uses
- Counting down to a deadline, event, holiday or launch.
- Working out contract, notice or warranty end dates.
- Calculating age in days, or how long ago something happened.
- Planning schedules that need a fixed number of working or calendar days.
Good to know
- Leap years are handled automatically, so February and year boundaries are always accurate.
- The result is calculated entirely in your browser, so your dates are never sent anywhere.
