Catch the mistakes you miss
An AI grammar checker reads your text and fixes the grammar, spelling and punctuation errors that are easy to overlook in your own writing. Unlike a rewriter, it leaves your wording and style alone and only corrects what is actually wrong.
What it fixes
- Grammar: verb agreement, tense, articles and sentence structure.
- Spelling: typos and misspelt words, in American or British spelling.
- Punctuation: commas, apostrophes, capitalisation and spacing.
How to use it
- Paste your text into the box, up to about 15,000 characters.
- Choose American or British English so spellings are corrected the right way.
- Press Check grammar and copy the corrected version.
Good to know
- It corrects rather than rewrites: if you want fresh phrasing, use the AI Paraphrasing Tool.
- Always reread the result, especially for names, numbers and anything technical.
- Your text is sent to a third-party AI service to be checked, so avoid confidential content. It runs on a free model, so you may occasionally need to retry at busy times.
