Type with your voice
Speech to text turns what you say into written text in real time. Press start, speak naturally, and your words appear in the box as you talk. It uses your browser's built-in speech recognition, so there is nothing to install and the transcription happens as you speak. Note that Etoolio never records or stores your audio, but the browser does send it to its own speech service (Google in Chrome) to convert it to text, so this tool is not fully on-device.

- Use a quiet room and speak at a steady, natural pace.
- A headset or external microphone usually beats a built-in laptop mic.
- Pause briefly between sentences so the recognizer can settle each phrase.
