Every PDF carries metadata: a title, an author, a subject and keywords. It is what your email preview, file browser and search results display for the file, and it is often wrong or left over from whatever created the document. This tool lets you view and edit that information, entirely in your browser. Your document is never uploaded, and it is free and unlimited.

Why metadata is worth fixing
A correct title makes a document look professional in an email or a shared drive, where the title, not the file name, is often what people see. Good keywords and subject text make a file easier to find later. And clearing an author name left in by the original software is a simple privacy tidy-up before you share a document more widely.
Private, and one honest limit
Metadata is read and written locally using a built-in PDF library, so your document never leaves your device. Note that this edits the standard document-information fields; it does not strip every trace of hidden data, such as embedded objects or revision history. It sits alongside the rest of the Etoolio PDF toolkit, all free and in-browser.
